Grade 1 Daily Lesson Logs TERM 1 | WEEK 1 (June 15-19, 2026)

Teachers handling Grade 1 classes can now access ready-to-use Daily Lesson Logs (DLLs) aligned with the latest direction of the Department of Education under the Enhanced MATATAG Curriculum and the Three-Term School Calendar for School Year 2026–2027. These DLLs are designed to help teachers organize daily classroom instruction while ensuring that learning competencies remain clear, achievable, and age-appropriate for beginning learners.

The Grade 1 DLLs include structured daily activities, classroom routines, formative assessment strategies, and learner-centered exercises suited for early literacy, numeracy, and foundational life skills. Each lesson guide follows a practical format that teachers can easily customize depending on learner needs and school contexts.

With the implementation of the three-term academic calendar, many teachers are now adjusting pacing guides and instructional planning. These Grade 1 DLLs aim to lessen teachers’ preparation workload by providing organized daily teaching references that are already aligned with the revised school structure. The materials may also help teachers focus more on classroom interaction, remediation, and learner engagement instead of spending excessive time creating lesson plans from scratch.

Teachers and school leaders are encouraged to review and contextualize the DLLs based on their learners’ readiness levels and available resources. These files are especially useful for classroom instruction, demonstration teaching, mentoring, and collaborative lesson preparation within grade-level teams.
