Teachers teaching Grade 8 may now access ready-to-use Daily Lesson Logs (DLLs) aligned with the Enhanced MATATAG Curriculum and the Three-Term School Calendar for School Year 2026–2027. These instructional materials are intended to support teachers in delivering organized, competency-based, and learner-centered instruction across different subject areas.
The Grade 8 DLLs contain structured daily lesson guides that promote analytical thinking, collaboration, communication, and mastery of essential competencies. Lessons are arranged systematically with clear objectives, instructional procedures, learner activities, and assessment tasks that help teachers facilitate meaningful classroom discussions and learning experiences.
As schools continue implementing revised academic structures and curriculum reforms, organized daily lesson planning remains essential in ensuring instructional continuity and effective classroom management. These DLLs help teachers focus more on learner participation and classroom interaction while reducing the burden of preparing daily lesson materials from scratch.
Teachers, department heads, and instructional supervisors may also use these materials for classroom observation, lesson planning, mentoring, and intervention programs. The DLLs may be edited and localized depending on learners’ needs and school-based implementation strategies.
