2023 PBB Updates: Additional SDOs Confirm Release

The long wait for the 2023 Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) is steadily moving forward as more Schools Division Offices (SDOs) confirm their releases. Updates from  Ma’am Shiela Lim Manuel of NCR-ASSERT and Sir Benjo Basas of Teachers Dignity Coalition (TDC), show that several SDOs have already received their 2023 PBB.

What This Means for DepEd Personnel

The PBB recognizes DepEd employees who meet PBIS performance criteria. Confirmation of an SDO release means DBM has finalized validation and funding for that division. Usual next steps include payroll processing, crediting schedules, and coordination with regional and division offices.
