WALANG PASOK: Class Suspensions for Monday, July 27, 2026

The following areas have announced class suspensions:

Metro Manila

• Quezon City — All levels in public and private schools.
  Reason: The suspension is due to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s State of the Nation Address at the Batasang Pambansa. It aims to minimize inconvenience caused by expected road closures, traffic congestion, security measures, and increased public activity surrounding the event.

• City of Manila — All levels in public and private schools, covering both face-to-face and online classes.
  Reason: The suspension is in observance of the President’s fifth State of the Nation Address. It is also intended to ease the effects of expected heavy traffic and transportation disruptions and allow the public to listen to the President’s address.

Pampanga

• City of San Fernando — Classes in public schools are suspended. Work in City Government offices is likewise suspended.
  Reason: The suspension was declared in observance of the 112th Founding Anniversary of the Iglesia ni Cristo.

• Mexico — Classes in public schools are suspended. Work in Municipal Government offices is also suspended.
  Reason: The suspension is in solemn commemoration of the 112th Founding Anniversary of the Iglesia ni Cristo. Private schools should follow the advisory of their respective school administrations.

• Sto. Tomas — Classes in all public and private schools are suspended. Work in Municipal Government offices is also suspended, except for offices providing essential and emergency services.
  Reason: The suspension is in observance of the 112th Founding Anniversary of the Iglesia ni Cristo.

Sarangani

• Glan — July 27, 2026 is a special non-working day in the municipality.
  Reason: The municipality will celebrate its Founding Anniversary, and the declaration is intended to give residents the opportunity to participate in and enjoy the local celebration. This is based on Proclamation No. 1335, s. 2026.
