Ready-Made DLL for All Key Stage Levels (Grades 1-12) | Term 1: Week 4, July 6–10, 2026 | I.L.A.W. Framework

Ready-Made Daily Lesson Logs (DLLs) for all Key Stages are prepared to support teachers in delivering organized, meaningful, and curriculum-aligned lessons for Term 1: Week 4, July 6–10, 2026. These materials cover Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, and Key Stage 4, providing teachers with practical instructional guides that may be used across different grade levels and learning areas.

These DLLs are developed following the I.L.A.W. Framework of the Department of Education, which helps ensure that lessons follow a clear and learner-centered instructional flow. Through this framework, teachers are guided in introducing the lesson, facilitating meaningful learning experiences, allowing learners to apply their understanding, and checking their progress through appropriate assessment and reflection activities.

For Key Stage 1, covering Grades 1 to 3, the Ready-Made DLLs are designed to support young learners who are still developing foundational skills in reading, numeracy, communication, values, and social interaction. Lessons at this level are made more engaging through simple discussions, guided questions, songs, stories, pictures, games, and hands-on activities that help pupils understand concepts in a concrete and age-appropriate way.

For Key Stage 2, covering Grades 4 to 6, the DLLs help teachers provide lessons that strengthen comprehension, problem-solving, communication, creativity, and independent learning. At this stage, learners are gradually expected to explain ideas, compare concepts, analyze information, and apply what they have learned in real-life situations. The I.L.A.W.-based lesson structure supports these goals by giving pupils opportunities to participate in discussions, complete meaningful tasks, and reflect on their learning.

For Key Stage 3, covering Grades 7 to 10, the Ready-Made DLLs are useful in guiding junior high school teachers as they deliver lessons that require deeper understanding, critical thinking, collaboration, and application of knowledge. Lessons at this level often involve analysis, inquiry, performance tasks, group activities, and formative assessment. These DLLs help teachers maintain an organized flow of instruction while keeping learners actively engaged in the learning process.

For Key Stage 4, covering Grades 11 to 12, the DLLs support Senior High School teachers in preparing lessons that develop higher-order thinking skills, practical competencies, research skills, communication, collaboration, and career readiness. Since learners at this stage are being prepared for higher education, employment, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning, the lessons provide opportunities for application, evaluation, creation, reflection, and performance-based learning.

The Ready-Made DLLs for all Key Stages serve as valuable references for teachers in planning their daily classroom instruction. They include essential lesson components such as objectives, content, learning competencies, learning resources, procedures, assessment, and reflection. By using these materials, teachers can save preparation time while still ensuring that lessons remain structured, relevant, and aligned with the expected learning outcomes.

These instructional guides also promote consistency in lesson planning and delivery. However, teachers are encouraged to modify, localize, and contextualize the activities, examples, questions, and assessment tasks based on learners’ needs, readiness, interests, grade level, available resources, and classroom situation. This flexibility helps ensure that the lessons remain meaningful, inclusive, and appropriate for every group of learners.

Disclaimer: These Ready-Made DLLs are intended to serve as supplementary instructional guides for teachers. While they are prepared with care and aligned with the I.L.A.W. Framework and the learning needs of Key Stage 1 learners, they may still contain errors, omissions, or parts that need further improvement. Teachers are encouraged to review, revise, contextualize, and validate the content before using the materials in actual classroom instruction. The teacher remains responsible for ensuring that the lessons are accurate, appropriate, and suited to the needs of the learners.
