The Ready-Made Daily Lesson Logs (DLLs) for all key stage levels are now available for Term 1, Week 7, covering the instructional period from July 27 to 31, 2026.
These lesson preparation materials cover learners from Grade 1 to Grade 12 and are intended to support teachers in organizing their daily classroom instruction. The DLLs are aligned with the prescribed Budget of Work, learning competencies, and instructional requirements for the seventh week of Term 1.
Available Daily Lesson Logs
The Week 7 DLLs cover the following key stage levels:
Key Stage 1 – Grades 1 to 3
Key Stage 2 – Grades 4 to 6
Key Stage 3 – Grades 7 to 10
Key Stage 4 – Grades 11 to 12
The available files include Daily Lesson Logs for the prescribed learning areas and subjects under each grade level. For Senior High School, the available materials may cover core, applied, and specialized subjects, depending on the curriculum offerings and strands implemented by the school.
Essential Lesson Components
Each Daily Lesson Log may contain important instructional components such as:
- Learning objectives and competencies
- Content and performance standards
- Subject matter or lesson content
- Learning resources and references
- Review and motivation activities
- Lesson discussions and guided practice
- Independent or collaborative learning tasks
- Formative assessment activities
- Enrichment, intervention, or remediation tasks
These components help teachers maintain a clear instructional sequence and ensure that the required competencies are properly introduced, developed, practiced, and assessed.
Support for Teachers
Preparing daily lessons requires considerable time, effort, and careful planning. These ready-made DLLs are provided to help make lesson preparation more manageable, especially for teachers handling several subjects, grade levels, or additional school responsibilities.
The materials may serve as practical references when teachers:
- Organize daily classroom activities
- Prepare lesson discussions and examples
- Select suitable teaching strategies
- Develop formative assessment tasks
- Plan differentiated learning activities
- Provide remediation and enrichment
- Monitor learners’ progress and understanding
However, ready-made lesson logs should not replace the professional judgment and instructional expertise of teachers. Every class has different needs, abilities, interests, learning gaps, and available resources.
