The Professional Regulation Commission officially released the results of the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) after thirty-nine (39) working days from the examination date.
Based on the announcement, a total of 18,376 elementary teachers out of 32,796 examinees successfully passed the board examination, posting a national passing rate of 56.03%. Meanwhile, 45,001 secondary teachers out of 61,561 examinees passed the examination, resulting in a higher passing rate of 73.10%.
The PRC also reported that among the successful elementary teacher examinees, 15,670 were first-time takers while 2,706 were repeaters. For the secondary level, 39,446 passers were first timers and 5,555 were repeaters.
The March 2026 LET was conducted on March 15, 2026 across 41 testing centers nationwide under the supervision of the Board for Professional Teachers. Thousands of aspiring educators across the country participated in the examination, which remains one of the largest licensure exams administered by the PRC each year.
