Make a difference in young learners’ lives while growing your career through cultural exchange.
Participate Learning is inviting qualified elementary teachers to teach full-time in the United States starting August 2026. This is a unique opportunity for international educators to build their careers, experience life in the U.S., and contribute meaningfully in the classroom while serving as cultural ambassadors.
For nearly four decades, Participate Learning has connected international educators with schools across the United States. As a U.S. Department of State–designated sponsor, the organization now supports teachers in 711 schools across 80 districts in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
As an Ambassador Teacher, you will join a supportive professional community where teachers are set up for success from day one. Participate Learning reports that 97% of teachers renew and 96% recommend the experience. Teachers benefit from full visa and relocation support, no sponsor fees, and ongoing mentoring throughout their journey.
