DepEd Sets Teachers’ Vacation and Key Dates for SY 2026–2027

The Department of Education has announced the schedule for the teachers’ vacation and other major activities ahead of the opening of School Year 2026–2027 under DepEd Order No. 012, s. 2025.

Public school teachers will have a 30-day End of School Year (EOSY) break from April 1 to May 1, 2026. This period gives teachers time to rest after the academic year and prepare for the transition to the next school year.

Following the vacation break, Brigada Eskwela and the enrollment period will be conducted from June 1 to June 5, 2026. These activities are part of the annual school preparation process and help ensure that schools are ready to welcome learners.

The indicative opening of School Year 2026–2027 is set for June 8, 2026. Since the date is described as indicative, it means the opening is still provisional and may be adjusted through a later official announcement.

Teachers, parents, and learners are encouraged to stay updated through official DepEd issuances for any changes or additional guidelines regarding the opening of classes.

I can also make it sound more like a campus news article or a short publication-ready advisory.
