Public school teachers under the Department of Education (DepEd) are set to receive a series of financial benefits and incentives from February to June, providing much-needed support and recognition for their service to the education sector.
According to the announced schedule, February marks the release of the Third Tranche of salary adjustments along with the January differential, giving teachers an early boost at the start of the year. This is followed in March by the release of the Medical Allowance amounting to ₱7,000, intended to help cover health-related expenses and promote the well-being of educators.
In April, teachers are set to receive the Clothing Allowance worth ₱7,000, which helps support professional attire and work-related needs in school settings. This benefit recognizes the importance of proper work clothing, especially for educators who report to schools daily and perform a wide range of duties.
The support continues in May with the release of the Mid-Year Bonus, equivalent to one month of basic salary. This incentive is a standard benefit for government employees and serves both as financial assistance and as recognition of continued public service.
Finally, in June, teachers will receive the Teaching Allowance amounting to ₱10,000, a benefit specifically intended to help cover classroom-related expenses and instructional needs.
Taken together, these scheduled releases reflect a sustained effort to provide financial relief and acknowledge the dedication of public school teachers. Beyond the monetary value, these benefits send a clear message of appreciation to educators who continue to carry the responsibility of shaping the country’s learners.
