PRC Extends CPD Undertaking Acceptance Until June 30, 2026

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced the extension of the acceptance of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Undertaking for the renewal of the Professional Identification Card (PIC) until 30 June 2026.

The announcement was issued through a memorandum dated 08 January 2026, in response to numerous inquiries regarding the CPD requirements for PIC renewal during the extension period. According to the PRC, professionals renewing their PIC during this time are still required to complete fifteen (15) CPD credit units, as the required number of units remains unchanged.

The memorandum was released by the PRC’s CPD Division to provide clarification and guidance to all concerned offices and licensed professionals nationwide. The PRC emphasized that the extension is intended to ensure continued compliance while giving professionals ample time to fulfill their CPD requirements.
