MANILA, Philippines — Government employees across the country are set to receive the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI) following the issuance of the relevant budget guidelines by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM). Under the provision, qualified public servants are entitled to a uniform Php 5,000 PEI, payable not earlier than December 15, 2025, as part of the government’s continued efforts to recognize efficiency and performance in public service delivery. The release of the PEI follows authorization by the President and the directive of DBM to implement the incentive in line with prevailing policies.
Despite the formal payment period beginning mid-December, several Schools Division Offices (SDOs) have already commenced disbursement of the FY 2025 PEI to eligible personnel, signaling proactive implementation at the local education level. The SDOs confirmed to have released the incentive include:

- SDO Tayabas City
- SDO Bulacan
- SDO Pasay
- SDO Bayawan City
- SDO Southern Leyte
- SDO Antique
- SDO Ilocos Norte
- SDO Leyte
- SDO Isabela
- SDO Valenzuela
- SDO Camarines Norte
- SDO Batangas Province
- SDO Marikina
- SDO Cagayan de Oro
- SDO Bataan
- SDO Masbate
These SDOs initiated payments ahead of or close to the authorized release date, reflecting strong administrative coordination and commitment to frontline education personnel. The early release of the PEI has been welcomed by many teaching and non-teaching staff, as the incentive provides additional year-end financial support.
