The Department of Education (DepEd) has officially started releasing the Year-End Bonus and Cash Gift for its teaching and non-teaching personnel—signaling the start of the much-anticipated holiday season across the country.
According to Ma’am Shiela Lim Manuel of NCR-ASSERT, several Schools Division Offices (SDOs) have already initiated the early distribution of the benefits. Among the divisions confirmed to have released the bonuses are:
- SDO Albay
- SDO Cabanatuan
- SDO Camarines Norte
- SDO Camarines Sur
- SDO Masbate Province
- SDO North Cotabato
- SDO Nueva Ecija
- SDO Pasay City
- SDO Quezon Province
- SDO Sorsogon Province
- SDO Tayabas City
- SDO Zambales
The Year-End Bonus and Cash Gift are part of the government’s regular incentives for public employees, traditionally released in November to provide financial support ahead of the holiday season. These benefits also serve as a token of appreciation for the hard work, service, and dedication of DepEd personnel throughout the year.
Education workers from other regions are advised to monitor updates from their respective division offices, as more SDOs are expected to process and release the bonuses in the coming days.
Stay tuned for further announcements and updates regarding the ongoing release of the Year-End Bonus and Cash Gift.
