CLASS SUPENSIONS (November 3-4, 2025) List of Areas


Several local government units across Western Visayas and nearby provinces have announced the suspension of face-to-face classes in anticipation of heavy rains and strong winds brought by Typhoon Tino.


CENTRAL VISAYAS


Bohol
  • All levels (public and private) – Classes are suspended on Monday, November 3, 2025, due to the expected effects of Severe Tropical Storm Tino.

Cebu Province
  • Province-wide suspension in all levels, both public and private.
  • Municipalities and Cities with specific extensions:
  • Until Nov. 5: Barili, Carcar City, Compostela, Consolacion, Liloan, and Lapu-Lapu City.
  • Until Nov. 4: Cordova, Daanbantayan, Naga City, San Fernando, San Francisco, Sibonga.
  • One-day suspension (Nov. 3): Alcantara, Alegria, Aloguinsan, Argao, Asturias, Badian, Carmen, Dalaguete, Ginatilan, Malabuyoc, Poro, Ronda, and Talisay City.

Cebu City – All levels (public and private) suspended for Nov. 3.

EASTERN VISAYAS

Biliran
  • Culaba – Classes suspended in all levels, both public and private, on Nov. 3.

Eastern Samar
  • All levels (public and private) – Suspension in effect until Tuesday, Nov. 4.

Leyte
  • The municipalities of Abuyog, Bato, Burauen, Carigara, and Tanauan suspended classes in all levels (public and private) until Tuesday, Nov. 4.

Tacloban City
  • All levels (public and private) – Class suspension until Nov. 4.

Northern Samar
  • San Isidro – Classes suspended in all levels on Nov. 3.

Samar Province
  • All levels (public and private) – Suspension extended until Nov. 4.

Southern Leyte
  • San Ricardo and Silago – Class suspensions until Nov. 4.

NEGROS ISLAND REGION

Negros Occidental
  • Province-wide suspension affecting multiple LGUs:
  • Until Nov. 4: Bago City, Don Salvador Benedicto, Enrique B. Magalona, Manapla, Moises Padilla, Pulupandan, Sagay City, Toboso, and Victorias City.
  • One-day (Nov. 3): Cadiz City, Escalante City, La Carlota City.
  • Bacolod City – Face-to-face classes in all levels suspended until Tuesday, Nov. 4.

WESTERN VISAYAS

Aklan
  • Balete, Ibajay, Kalibo, New Washington – Classes in all levels suspended until Tuesday, Nov. 4.
  • Malay – Suspension extended until Wednesday, Nov. 5.

Antique
  • Caluya – Suspension from preschool to senior high school until Nov. 4.
  • Libertad – Suspension of all face-to-face classes until Nov. 5.
  • Pandan – Suspension until Nov. 4.
  • Patnongon, San Jose de Buenavista, Sibalom, Tibiao – Face-to-face classes suspended on Nov. 3.

Capiz
  • Dumarao, Ivisan, Jamindan, Maayon, Panitan, Pontevedra, Roxas City – Suspension of face-to-face classes in all levels until Tuesday, Nov. 4.

Iloilo Province
  • Balasan, Batad, Carles, Concepcion, Estancia, Leon, Oton, Pavia, Pototan, San Dionisio, Sara – All levels (public and private) suspended.
  • Until Nov. 5: Pototan.
  • Until Nov. 4: Leon and Sara.
  • Iloilo City – Face-to-face classes suspended in all levels on Monday, Nov. 3.


Local authorities urge the public to stay updated through official government and PAGASA bulletins and to avoid unnecessary travel during the storm’s passage.

PAGASA Update

As of Sunday afternoon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that Typhoon Tino continues to move westward, bringing moderate to heavy rainfall over Western Visayas, Central Visayas, and parts of Southern Luzon. Residents in low-lying and mountainous areas are advised to remain alert for possible flooding and landslides.
