Starting School Year 2025–2026, all qualified public school teachers will receive a ₱10,000 teaching allowance annually. This is double the previous amount of ₱5,000, which was released on July 29, 2024, for SY 2024–2025.
Release Schedule for SY 2025–2026
All qualified DepEd public school teachers with a teaching load—regardless of the number of hours—are entitled to receive the full ₱10,000 allowance. This will be released no earlier than the official start of the school year, based on the annual DepEd School Calendar.
In special cases, such as emergencies, the schedule may be adjusted by the DepEd Secretary or their authorized representative.
