Fund allotted for DepEd from the recently signed Bayanihan II

President Rodrigo Duterte signed the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act or Bayanihan II that will provide a total of P165.5 billion for the country's immediate economic recovery.

As a stimulus package for recovery, Bayanihan II includes the necessary funding to cover appropriate support programs for workers and individuals affected, and other interventions for critically affected sectors such as agriculture, transportation, education, tourism, and MSMEs.


The Department of Education shall P4 billion for the implementation of its learning continuity plan which includes printing of SLMs or self-learning modules.
