The Ready-Made Daily Lesson Logs for Key Stage 2 are now available for Term 1, Week 8, August 3–7, 2026. These instructional materials are intended for teachers handling Grades 4, 5, and 6.
What Teachers Can Expect
The Week 8 lesson logs provide suggested daily teaching guides that may assist teachers in organizing classroom discussions, activities, assessments, and follow-up tasks. Each DLL is prepared to support the proper sequencing of lessons and the delivery of the scheduled learning competencies for the week.
Compared with the primary grades, learners in Key Stage 2 are expected to engage in more detailed discussions, guided practice, problem-solving, application activities, and independent learning tasks. The materials therefore include lesson components suited to the developing knowledge and skills of intermediate learners.

These DLLs may help teachers prepare their lessons more efficiently while ensuring that important lesson components, including objectives, subject matter, procedures, assessments, and assignments, are properly organized.
A Practical Teaching Reference
The ready-made DLLs are provided as editable teaching references. Teachers may use them as a foundation when preparing their daily instruction instead of developing every lesson component from the beginning.
However, classroom conditions differ from one school to another. Teachers are encouraged to revise the examples, activities, teaching approaches, and assessment tasks according to the learners’ abilities, available resources, class schedule, and local context.
The materials may also be supplemented with additional exercises, differentiated activities, remediation tasks, enrichment work, and other learning resources necessary to address the needs of the class.
