The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced the extension of the acceptance of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) undertaking for the renewal of Professional Identification Cards (PIC) until June 30, 2026.
According to the PRC, this extension allows professionals renewing their PICs to continue submitting a CPD undertaking in lieu of immediately completing the required CPD units, subject to existing rules and regulations.
The Commission said the move aims to provide continued flexibility and convenience to licensed professionals processing the renewal of their identification cards.
The PRC encourages all concerned professionals to take note of the extended deadline and to comply with the necessary requirements for PIC renewal within the prescribed period.
