NO CLASSES; More LGUs and Schools Suspen Classes on February 25, 2026 (EDSA 40)

Classes will be suspended in several schools and local government units (LGUs) on February 25, 2026, as institutions across the country prepare to observe the 40th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution.

Despite Malacañang’s declaration of the date as a special working day, many academic institutions have opted to pause classes or close campuses, citing the importance of giving students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to take part in commemorative events and remembrance activities.

As of this writing, the following schools and LGUs have announced class suspensions or special holiday observances on February 25:
