The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) is now accepting new batch of firefighters! Application is open for the recruitment of Two Thousand (2000) Fire Officer 1 (FO1) (SG 10) Nationwide. Please refer to your nearest BFP Fire Station / BFP Regional Office for more details.
General Qualifications:
1. A citizen of the Republic of the Philippines
2. A person of good moral character
3. A graduate of any 4-Year Baccalaureate Degree from a recognized institution of learning
4. Must poses at least Second Level Eligibility, RA 1080 (Board and Bar Exams – Professional Regulatory Commission), or Presidential Decree No. 907 (Honor Graduates – Civil Service
Commission)
5. Must be at least 1.57 meter height for male and 1.52 meter for female.
6. Must weigh no more or less than 5 kilograms from the standard weight corresponding to his/her height, age and sex;
7. Must not be less than 21 nor more than 30 years old on the date of actual assumption of duty / oath of office.
8. Must have passed the psychiatric / psychological, drug and physical tests;
9. Must not been convicted by final judgement of an offensive crime; and
10. Must not have been dishonorably discharged or dismissed for case from previous employment;
