3 schools in Zambales suspended face-to-face classes as teachers tested positive for COVID


The pilot implementation of face-to-face classes was suspended in the 3 schools in Zambales after some teachers tested positive for COVID.

The antigen test is mandatory in schools that will participate in the said limited face-to-face classes to ensure the safety of all who will be included in the pilot run.

The San Marcelino National High School and Baliwet Elementary School in the town of San Marcelino have already suspended their F2F classes as some of their teachers tested positive in the COVID antigen test.
The Banawen Elementary School in San Felipe also canceled its pilot implementation as they wait for the antigen test results of their teachers.

The Department of Education has already made its statement regarding this matter and assured the safety of all persons involved.
