Teachers' Benefits to be released this September

The Department of Education is targetting to release the annual medical examination allowance for public school teachers amounting to P500 this September along with other benefits and incentives that are expected to be given.

DepEd Usec. Annalyn Sevilla said that they are about to release a total of P400 million for the annual medical examination allowance for teachers this September. While the National Teachers Day Incentive amounting to P1,000 shall be made available on October 5. Teachers who are tasked to report to school in places under ECQ and MECQ are also entitled to receive a hazard pay of P500 per day.
