Clarification from DepEd in wearing school uniforms during online classes

The Department of Education clarified that wearing students' uniform is not required during online classes.

As the news continues to arise concerning the proper attire for students during the conduct of distance learning, especially the online class interaction, DepEd emphasized that students may wear their most comfortable yet appropriate attire.

“The DepEd is not requiring learners to wear school uniform in any distance learning approaches that they will participate in for School Year 2020-2021. With face-to-face classes prohibited, learners are welcome to wear their most comfortable and appropriate clothes while learning at the safe confines of their home,” according to DepEd.
