The Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) 2025 provides a meaningful one-time benefit to eligible government employees in recognition of collective performance and public service contribution. For personnel of the Department of Education (DepEd), the SRI serves as an important acknowledgment of the sustained efforts of teaching and non-teaching staff in delivering basic education services nationwide.
For 2025, the SRI will be released in two tranches, reflecting administrative and fiscal scheduling rather than a reduction in benefits. DepEd employees are set to receive ₱14,500 in the first tranche, followed by ₱5,500 in the second tranche, completing the ₱20,000 total SRI. This staggered release allows agencies to provide immediate financial support while ensuring compliance with funding and accounting requirements.
Implementation is already underway, with several Schools Division Offices (SDOs) having released the first tranche of the SRI. Among those reported are the following:
- SDO Albay
- SDO Escalante City
- SDO Antipolo (P10,000 less Tax)
- SDO Sorsogon Province
