Public school teachers in the Philippines are set to receive another pay increase this coming January 2026 under the Salary Standardization Law VI (SSL VI), implemented through Executive Order No. 64, s. 2024. Salary Increase for SG 11

For teachers in Salary Grade 11, which covers many entry-level positions, the adjustment is clear and measurable:

2025 Monthly Salary (Step 1): ₱30,024
2026 Monthly Salary (Step 1): ₱31,705
Net Increase: ₱1,681 per month or ₱20,172 annually

This means that starting January, teachers under SG 11 can expect a noticeable boost in their take-home pay, which is aimed at easing financial burdens and acknowledging the vital role educators play in shaping the nation’s future.

Wider Impact of SSL VI
