Latest Updates: SRI 2023 for Government Employees

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. stated that he will evaluate the possibility of granting government employees with a service recognition incentive (SRI) this year, based on its financial feasibility.

During an interview in Taguig City, Marcos explained that they will wait until the end of the fiscal year to assess their financial position and determine what they can afford.

He mentioned that they will review the matter and see if it is possible to grant SRI to government workers.

“We wait until the end of the fiscal year to see what it is that we can afford. So, we will have another look at that and see if it is possible,” said Marcos.

Last year, Marcos released an administrative order that granted a one-time SRI to executive department employees at a uniform rate not exceeding PHP20,000.
