DepEd nakatakdang mamahagi ng mga laptops sa mga paaralan, mga opisina sa buong bansa

Nakatakdang ipamahagi ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon (DepEd) ang 40,000 na laptops sa mga guro, kawani, paaralan, at field offices sa buong bansa ngayong buwan upang magbigay ng kinakailangang suporta sa mga education frontliners para sa nalalapit na taong panuruan. 

“The provision of internet-capable equipment to DepEd offices, schools, and teachers is great news for the education sector. This would go a long way in our continued implementation of our Basic Education – Learning Continuity Plan and in providing technical support to our field offices nationwide,” ayon kay Kalihim ng Edukasyon Leonor Magtolis Briones.

Ang procurement ng laptops sa pamamagitan ng Department of Budget and Management-Procurement Service (DBM-PS) ay naging posible dahil sa Bayanihan to Recover As One Act (Bayanihan II), ang second stimulus package ng gobyerno upang labanan ang epekto ng pandemya ng COVID-19.

“Our direction is to provide laptops for each teacher and our DepEd offices. The Department recognizes that teachers who use their own devices bought these out of their own expense. It is still the responsibility of the state to provide government-issued laptops,” ani Pangalawang Kalihim sa Pangangasiwa Alain Del B. Pascua.

Siguradong makatatanggap nito mula sa mga Division at Regional offices ay ang mga Implementing Units (UIs), Public Schools District Supervisors (PSDSs), Alternative Learning System (ALS) Mobile Teachers, at Regional at Division Coordinators sa ilalim ng Administration Strand. 

Ang laptops ay diretsong ipadadala sa mga Regional Offices. Ang Regional Supply Office naman ang magtitiyak sa pinal na listahan ng mga tatanggap at mamumuno sa pagbibigay ng allocated units ng Schools Division Offices.

Bukod pa rito, ang mga pangalan ng mga benepisaryo ay isusumite sa mga regions at divisions ng CO-based concerned na mga opisina bilang reperensya.

Maaaring magsagawa ng sabayang pagbubukas at pagsasanay sa paggamit ng laptop ang mga Regional at Schools Division Offices sa pamamagitan ng online webinars o face-to-face sessions, kung saan kinakailangan ang mahigpit na health protocols at physical distancing.
