The End-of-School Rites for the SY 2019-2021 shall focus on the theme "Sulong Edukalidad: Pagtataguyod sa Kinabukasan ng Bayan” and according to the DepEd School Calendar, EOSY rites shall be from March 30 to April 3, 2020. This is until the memorandum from the office of the president has been released.
This memo postponed classes and all school activities in all levels up until April 14, 2020, and shall resume on April 15, 2020, as a safety measure against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following the directives from the government, DepEd states that schools may resume their End-of-School Rites on April 15-17, 2020, assuming that the ECQ will not be extended.
However, DepEd also reminds schools to conduct proper consultation with their Parents-Teachers Association if they would agree to resume or forego the moving-up and graduation ceremonies.
