The Daily Lesson Logs for Key Stage 3 are now available for teachers handling Grades 7, 8, 9, and 10 for Term 1, Week 9, scheduled from August 10 to 14, 2026.
These ready-made lesson logs may be used as planning references for the week’s classroom instruction. They contain suggested lesson objectives, teaching strategies, learning activities, assessment tasks, and follow-up exercises that may help teachers deliver more organized and purposeful lessons.
Included Grade Levels
Grade 7
The materials support learners as they adjust to junior high school through guided discussions, structured activities, and introductory tasks that build essential subject knowledge and study habits.
Grade 8
The lesson logs provide activities that help learners deepen their understanding, connect ideas, interpret information, and apply previously learned concepts to new situations.
Grade 9
The materials include tasks that promote analysis, reasoning, collaboration, communication, and practical application of lessons across different subject areas.
Grade 10
The DLLs feature more advanced discussions, performance tasks, and assessments designed to strengthen learners’ readiness for Senior High School and higher-level academic work.
Classroom Use and Customization
Teachers may use these lesson logs as a starting point when preparing their daily instruction. The content, activities, pacing, and assessment methods should still be adjusted according to the learners’ abilities, class schedule, available resources, school programs, and local context.
Teachers are also encouraged to provide suitable remediation for learners who need additional support and enrichment activities for those who are ready for more challenging tasks.
