A high school teacher in Olongapo City was dismissed from service for allegedly sexually abusing students way back in 2018.
The Department of Education (DepEd) stated that Mr. Franco Arañas of New Cabalan National High School has officially violated the Rules of Procedure and was found guilty.
Arañas has failed to abide by the standards expected of him as a public servant and as an educator, this is according to DepEd-Central Luzon director May Eclar said.
“Arañas’ dismissal from service was a success for the victims and for all those who believed and supported them in their fight in the past several years,” Emmanuel Drewery, executive director of the People’s Recovery Empowerment Development Assistance or PREDA Foundation.
